Apple Pie Egg Rolls with Caramel Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream
Homemade Apple Pie Egg Rolls with a Caramel Sauce!
I used egg roll wrappers, granny smith apples, butter, cinnamon, sugar, oil, and egg.
Peel and cut 3 or 4 granny smith apples and put into a pan. Add the butter cinnamon and sugar to the apples and then cook until soft. Once cooked add to a bowl and refrigerate until cold. Put enough oil into a pan to cook the egg rolls in and begin to heat. Beat one egg to seal them. Lay out one wrapper and add a small amount of the mixture. Roll it up and seal with the egg wash. Fry the egg rolls in the pan, once done put them in a bowl or plate with napkins. Add cinnamon and sugar while still fresh. When you are done cut open the egg rolls and add them to a bowl of ice cream and top with caramel!
